1. Garcia Says: I have a 1995 Mercury Grand Marquis and my parents say I need to replace a part but they dont know what its called in english. In spanish its called the sinfin.

It is a black cylinder looking thing under neath the hood. It connects to the rod that turns when you turn the steering wheel.
2. nick d Says: a link to a picture would probably help i know no spanish and can't think of a black cylinder connected to the steering shaft other than the steering box itself the rag joint like a previous poster mentioned would be a rubber disk about halfway up the steering shaft and if failed would allow alot of play in the steering wheel before it actually did any turning
3. GomerP Says: The slang (but most used) automotive term is a rag joint should have 2 or 4 bolts through it . Rubber in the middle. If the steering is very loose thats the part you need .
4. D Says: That doesn't make sense. Sinfin is "endless" or "vast number" in Spanish.
5. Robert M Says: Sterring linkage drive shaft.
