(2010-05-30 10:44:31) 1. Says: Yes you can. This will not give you a big effect on your car because of a slight difference to its profile. 245/70/17 is thicker on its sidewall compare to 245/65/17. Hope this help!2. Says: yes.this is mereely the ration of tread ot sidewall. however, you need to do the math and verify the wheel well will take the extra 5%, about 1/2 inch...(12.25mm)
fyi, 245 is the width of the tread. the 65 and the 70 are % of the width. the 70's are 171.5mm sidewalls, the 65's are 159.25mm3. Says: yes you can.
be advised: the ones you want to put on are a little more narrow4. Says: They should work unless your car is an extreme low rider. The new tire will be just a lil bit taller5. Says: yes u can it wont make a difference Tag: The size of my tires are 245/65/17 can i use a 245/70/17 tire?
