cars have a thing so that you cant push it around when its off

5. Claira Voyant Says: Your steering lock engaged, and when you let go of the wheel it sprung back against the lock lever. Simply pull the wheel to the right again while you turn the key with the other hand and away you go!

6. john_mgd Says: the best way to get it back to normal is to get a long iron pipe, open the driver's side door, wedge the bar thru the steering wheel & use it as a lever to turn the wheel. you might need 2 people to apply enough pressure. the bar has to be thick so it won't just bend, and 4 to 6 feet long to get lots of leverage. good luck!
