Can someone tell me this car part is called?

aunnie8 Says: The very small plastic piece that attaches the cable to the shifter in a manual 07 saturn vue. It has broken, the shifter is now just loose and will only go up and down. What is this piece called and can we purchase it or do we have to purchace the entire cable kit

bobweb Says: Best thing to do in my opinion is to stop at the Saturn Dealer's parts department and they will have what you need. It might even be covered under a warranty of one type or another.

jesta.drifter Says: Bob is right. It probably is a dealer only item, or wrecking yard. You can do this by phone if you can get a patient parts person, and they will mail it to you.

bandit_60 Says: if you know where it,s located then your best bet is get 1 from the junk yard. it seems like everything is made out of plastic these days.
