Says: ok i put some stop leak in my radiator and my truck is over heating i try to turn the heater on and it keeps it from going sky high but it doesn't bring it down to the mid line it just sits halfway mid to the top line. so my buddy said flush and change the thermostat so i did and it did not help its still doing the same thing what could be the problem.2. Says: Your radiator is partly plugged up. Take it to a radiator shop & have it roded out. They will fix the leak at the same time.3. Says: do to mechaninc4. Says: When you say you flushed it, does that mean you used radiator flush to clear out all the corrosion and stop leak? After you do that then add a small amount of stop leak at a time to seal the leak.5. Says: ck to see if out side of raderator is clean, fins clear or dirt..,ck to make sure hoses are not collasping while running, make sure y0ur new thermostat is not upside down, last... pull spark plugs to see if anti freeze is on any of them, if so you got a blown head gasket or cracked head,,ck exhaust to see if its blowing steam out, itll have a cotton candy smell, if it dose, also a head gasket or cracked head.. pressure test, to see if you loseing coolant.
