How do you know if your car battery is about to die?

Bill M Says: It's possible a dying battery might cause symptoms like that. Also, if you listen to the radio, it forgets your preset stations and plays static. These are signs of low voltage. You can buy a voltmeter or ask an auto parts store to test it.

bandit_60 Says: all the electrical stuff on your car comes from the battery and the alternator is suppose to keep putting it back in so it won,t go dead. so it can be the battery or the alternator. the battery might have a dead cell and won,t take the charge or the alternator might not be charging the battery. so it,s best to get both checked before spending money on something you might not need.
