Silicon dielectric compound w/ spark plugs?

1. Nace Says: Im in process and need this answer quick.
Plugs to dist cap or wire to spark plug? Where does it go?
2. mister ss Says: put the grease on both ends of the plug wire on the inside of the ends, just rub it around inside some and then push the ends on where they go.
3. DEBORAH S Says: don't know what car you have but you have on 4&6 cyl engines 4 or 6 plugs to diss cap and 1 from cap to coil others got to plugs but fire order is not the same on all cars
4. scrubbag Says: Put the silicon compound on the rubber boots, inside near the end of the boots, on the spark plugs and on the cap wires.
The grease stops electricity from leaking out, so the most good would be at the plugs, which have metal on the bottom and the motor is metal, so the chance of leaking there is great. But it doesn't hurt to put some on the cap end either.

When I say on spark plugs, I mean the rubber, not the plugs.
