How do you change the differential fluid on an 1995 impala ss?

1. Mulya Says: im trying to change my fluid in my 1995 impala ss... i know how to take the cover off and drain it but i dont know how much to put back in......... do i fill to the hole or is it a set amount?

3. William W Says: Fill to the hole. It's positioned where it is for that purpose.

4. mister ss Says: you will need 2 bottles of gear lube but you won't use all of it but pour it in and fill it until it runs out the fill hole and put the plug back in.
