1. josh Says: I have a 1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS 2.0L Non turbo car. As i am driving and the engine gets warm the car will die while i am driving, No hesitation or anything just dies like you turn the key off. The car will start back up though like nothing happened and run. I have changed the whole EGR valve + cleaned the port and a new coil pack and also unhooked the MAP sensor and it continues to have the same problem. Got it scanned codes P0401,P0138,P0140 oxygen sensor on exhaust came up but the sensor has been off for more than a year.I replaced the autoshutdown and fuel pump relay and this helped for a week but now its doing it again. Also replaced camshaft sensor, crankshaft sensor, temp coolant sensor, and thermostat with new fluid Has been to two different shops cant find anything wrong.Any ideas i am stumped
2. Claira Voyant Says: That's a tough one, my best guess would be a weak ignition switch. Check your connections at the ECM as well.
