Ignition coil blown for second time, why?
(2010-05-30 12:21:48) 1. Says: My audi s3 (2000 plate) has blown its ignition coil for the second time in 6 months, the mechanic who fitted first 1 replaced it free and said it was a faulty part. but just incase it wasn't a fault part why could the car be doing this?.P.S before anyone asks why I didn't ask mechanic his, I didn't pick car up.2. Says: It is possible that is really was faulty these cars are not known for coil problems. They are dependable rides with minimal problems usually. There are tons of VW forums out there to ask specific Vw queries.3. Says: bad part4. Says: You omitted an important detail. What was the exact brand and part number of coil that continues to go bad?
