My ford f-250 power stroke diesel turbo is running slugish.?

1. Tavan H Says: My ford f-250 has been slowly taking off. it makes this loud noise like it's burning diesel then it takes off. Does any body know what this problem could be?.

2. Hunter Says: I have a 96 F250 that did the same thing when it was getting warmed up.I would floor it and it would build rpm's then blast off leaving a cloud of white smoke. It's from old injectors and/or bad compression. It's back home getting new injectors right now. I also have an 01 F350. Or it could be from a old fuel filter, old oil in the oil system, trash/water in the fuel system. Try adding a fuel treatment like Diesel Kleen and see if that helps.
