My 95 ford ranger wont start.?

1. Mamabird Says: The starter works fine, and we replaced the battery and the solenoid. Its a manual transmission with almost 227,000 miles on it. Is there something else that could be causing this problem?
We're replacing the neutral safety switch today, and possibly the ignition switch. When we try to start the truck it seems like the current is getting stopped somewhere, so I'm pretty sure its an electrical problem. The cab lights, the headlights, and the radio won't even come on if we turn the key to the on position.
2. Jeklo Says: Have you tried getting the starter checked? Since you just replaced the battery you could also double check the connection at battery and at starter. If its connected I would suggest trying to jump start or push start it. Beyond that I would suggest to just take it to a mechanic for a diagnostic.
