Does adding a transmission treatment oil on the differential oil tank ruin the differential?

1. ugot8too Says: I have a 2002 Impreza and was adding a transmission treatment on the wrong location.
My car has 2 dipstick that look the same, one for the diff and one for the trans, but after I poured the treatment, I realized that was on the wrong side. Will that damage the diff?
2. Bear Says: One dipstick will be for the automatic transmission(usually yellow in N.A.). there is no problen adding the treatment here. The other dipstick is for the crankcase oil and tranny treat here is bad. If u have not ran the engine ssince adding the treatment GOOD! Drain the crankcase and refill with heavier oil than usual and change the oil filter. run for a bit (10-15 mins) redo the oil change and pray!
If the engine has been ran do not drive it again till u contact ur mechanic for advice
