Says: it gets a little heat were its warm but not hot and i looked at my coolant and i opend it up and it was like a brown colour if i clean it out and had new coolant would that make my car hot again or is something eles wrong?2. Says: You really should change out your coolant, especially with summer approaching. But that isn't causing your heat problem.A new thermostat is in the neighborhood of $10, and most are very easy to replace. Sometimes just a hose clamp, or 2-3 bolts is all that needs to be removed. You will lose some coolant in the process, so change your t-stat BEFORE replacing your coolant.
If your heater core is bad, you would generally have coolant leaking inside your car. It may not be much, so you may not notice the coolant unless you feel around the floor below your dash for wetness.3. Says: You need a new heater core, or your thermostat is stuck open
since the thermostat is cheap, change it4. Says: BECAUSE YOU GIVE IT NO LOVE HAHAHAHAHA5. Says: your thermostat might be finished... they aren't that expensive t replace yourself... but my guess would be that you have a bad thermostat6. Says: what do you mean - get heat
is it cold in the car's interior - - - or the engine not getting warm
