Does the IAC(Idle Air Control Valve) have a gasket?

1. Frank Says: I recently removed the IAC(Idle Air Control Valve) from my 2002 Ford Focus ZTS but i didn't noticed a gasket on it. I was wondering if anyone knew if it needed a gasket? I've looked for one at autozone.com but i was not able to find one. Please help. Thank you.

3. Mad Jack Says: Usually no gasket. If you are worried about leaks you could put a little thread sealer on the threads. Use thread sealer, not thread locker.

Some teflon tape on the threads would also work.
