Can i put a 97 thunderbird engine in a 96 thunderbird?

Says: Have a professional mechanic do the job--there is more than just putting the motor in--sometimes unexpected problems arise--or some computer glitch might occur---its nothing that YOU can do at home.4. Says: If they are both V-8s they are interchangeable.5. Says: Yes you can. What we do is transfer all the parts from the old engine (manifold, sensors, etc) on to the new engine.
