1. Help Me Says: I bought it they said they did all this work to it and go to find out they didn't do exactly what they said... Also my emergency brake doesn't work n my motor mounts n strutts are bad.. can I go back after them or do u think its good enough to contact the "Better Business Bureau"?
2. dick car guy Says: Look it is up to you, to find a good car, if you are not mechanically inclined, then for your own sake, get the car to a mechanic BEFORE YOU BUY IT, OK? NOT AFTER!!!. motor mounts are from normal wear and tear, same thing with the struts, and used cars, have worn, or broken parts, such as e brake.did you want to go back so that what, you can pay them to fix it?? please, in the future, a dealer sells a car, in AS IS CONDITION what this means is, anything you want to know about the car, take it to a good mechanic first. This is the only way to find out if it is a hunk of crap, or not. and what you described, is something that could be fixed for a maybe 3 hundred in parts, or less, and in your driveway on a day off. So be glad the thing is running good after three weeks, there are questions on here almost daily, about people who buy a used car, and the transmission goes out, or the engine BLEW UP a day or two after buying it. so you sound like your car is in not too bad a shape, be glad, it does not always go like that. good luck, get some friends together, buy a few beers, buy some good quality auto parts, fix your car on a nice sunny saturday ok?? best of luck
3. Gob Says: you could try, but you won't have much luck. I'd hate to say this, but you should've brought someone who knows about cars to look at it before you bought it, or asked the dealer to have your own mechanic inspect it. anytime a dealer refuses to let you do this, never buy a car from him. sorry man, good luck.
4. Whoa D Says: Nothing like a bunch of no good dealers. Don't believe ANYTHING they say. If they tell you they fixed something it's a lie. The most they will do is change the oil, steam clean the engine, and change the brake pads so they won't squeal. But to answer your question.

1. Motor mounts, struts shouldn't be painful to repair.
2. No one uses the emergency brake anyway. Why? The brake systems of these days are meant to operate even when one half of the system fails. Very rarely does both of the systems fail. And even if they did, I doubt you would have the instinct to use the emergency brake. The only braking that will occur when your brakes fail is most likely what you will run into.
5. bikerwoody Says: Check your paperwork, see if there's a warranty. The emergency brake is a legal requirement and should have been checked for your inspection if you bought the car registered. Try the dealer before you go to the bureau.
