Can you paint over an LED bulb?

1. D-rew Says: Just wondering if I could paint over a 3mm-5mm LED bulb with stain glass paint or some other type and it be ok or would the paint crack off easily
any tips/suggestions? let me know! thanks
2. Frankie Says: LED bulbs don't get hot so cracking shouldn't be a problem. It will, however, take a lot away from the brightness.
3. james Says: yes led lights dont get as hot as old bulbs get one good cote an let dry over night an lite it up wont be as brite as before that the onley problim
