leave some comments please.
2. Matt Says: yes and no. A new car make me feel like i'm driving something lacking experience. it feels dull and numb. some new cars give a great feel of power and agility. With all the new equipment can you be sure this is real? Is the company just amplifying a weak engine to make it seem like power? Feel however you with. I'd much rather a real feeling then one synthesized through research and development. However in an old car one that is bare bones no frills the experience is real. When i hop into my c10 i feel the stock seats and over sized steering wheel that aids in steering because of the lack of power in the power steering pump. The brakes run on hydraulics pumped in from that same pump. if you need to slow briskly your best chance is to down shift as the brakes will buck and kick and theres a chance of locking up th wheels. The carburettor distributes the gas as you hear the fuel pump whine to keep up. The transmission is crude and with every shift the no-slip configuration grabs the gear creating a loss of friction in every shift. All the power is controlled by you not the ecm, ecu, or watever they use these days. So the answer can be yes as well as no.
