How much would it cost to replace a headlight bulb at a repair shop?
(2010-05-30 14:05:13) 1. Says: I have a 2006 VW Passat and I can only get to the passenger side bulb but I can't figure out the driver's side even though it should be the same. I went to Autozone and 2 different people can't figure it out. So if I bring it to a repair shop (not dealer) how much roughly would it cost? Also, do you think they would let me buy the bulbs from Autozone and have them put them on?Thanks2. Says: way more then it should. i dont even know if someone will do that for you as it is like almost too minor. which means that anyone who will do it for you is gonna rape you on it and totally over charge you. or they will try to get you to get something else fixed while you are there.3. Says: depends if you have HID lights the fitting is the same both sides, but the air cleaner and cover may be in the way, HID bulbs are not cheap and it might not be the bulb which is even more expensive4.
