How can friction, heat from excessive rubbing, power buffing and or polishing be good for todays automotive acrylic paint?2. Says: wax's most common problem is it dulls the paint?
uh,, exact opposite..
time consuming?
itll take maybe 45 min..
and only have do it every 2 months..
im sure you can find time.
polishing removes swirl/scratches caused by the consumer
of course you can remove too much clear coat
but generally, you wo nt come even close to that..3. Says: Waxing todays car's with basecoat/clearcoat finishes is very important. The wax provides additional UV protection from the sun thus causing the paint to look deeper longer. Not waxing a car regularly will cause it to dull out quicker and will make it more likely to oxidize. Tag: Is buffing car wax on acrylic paint becoming obsolete?
