Getting fuel but no spark help!!?
(2010-05-30 15:32:44) 1. Says: Buick Lasabre gettinh gas but no spark. I've got down and dirty with this .. replacing the computer, Ive changed the plugs, cam sensor, battery, control module its endless, anyone have any other ideas?2. Says: Hi not sure if you have electronic ignition type with internal coil & igniter can cause faults.Don't know if you have a alarm immobiliser fitted to ignition that's gone faulty.
Had these faults before not sure it will apply to your car.3. Says: Did you check your coil packs? I think you probably would saved some money by getting it scanned first. Why did you have to replace the computer? You need more experience in diagnosing problems of this nature, no offense. That Buick probably has a 3.8L with sequential fuel injection,right.4. Says: did you check you coil packs/distributor (year and engine with fuel system would help)
need a lot more info to help sorry5. Says: i aree with steve & jim you seem to have more money than knowledge, no offense of course.6. Says: are you kidding me? Why did you do the hard stuff first?
ALWAYS CHECK THE EASY STUFF FIRST!!
Plugs, wires, distributor, coil(s), stuff like that. you need a test light or volt meter to check where your getting power to.7. Says: the bad water temp sensor could create a no-start condition, it would not shut off the spark. Usually a hot, no-spark condition would send me to either the ignition module or coil power transistor. If you replaced the coil, that should have come with a new power transistor.8. Says: Have you checked the Crankshaft Position Sensor? Tag: Getting fuel but no spark help!!?
