I need new front and rear brakes on my 2005 minivan. Down to metal on metal?

1. Jim G Says: on the fronts, and rears were locked up and not working. I got an estimate from one repair place. Are there any ways I can save money on this expensive repair without sacrificing safety? I am not able to repair them myself
