What causes my transmission to leak from the outside?

(2010-05-30 16:04:55)
1. Austin Says: i have a 2000 isuzu rodeo that has been leaking oil from the right side above the front oil pan constantly, could it be a modulator valve?
2. itsmyfault Says: i think so . yes
3. Myles Says: For sure. Good Luck. Transmission problems are the worse
4. Motorhead Says: Unlikely because the modulator usually leaks into the vacuum hose.
Why not just stream clean it or use spray Gunk and find out exactly?
Once it is clean, it would be easy to replace the pan gasket, which is the most likely.
But it could be a cooling line or something.
