I accidentally reach above 7 RPM in 2nd gear on my car...?

2. Simon Says: You'll be fine! Car's have rev limiters for a reason and CRV's are super reliable. You'll only do real damage if you keep you foot planted for a long time (like 4-5 minutes.)

3. JBF Says: As long as your car redlines at or above 7,000 rpm (which it probably does since I am sure it has a rev-limiter to keep you from exceeding redline) then your engine is designed to do that so no worries.

4. Jared Says: Just broke it in a little sooner, you now have a car with 100,000 miles on motor now. Honda makes very reliable engines, but like the other guy said, be careful, you could hurt more than your CRV.
