I bought an 06 f150 and 4 days late it has an oil leak?

1. thepast Says: I drove it home the day I bought it and it has not been driven since.
I discoverd this leak.
The carfax was ok and at the dealer there was no oil on the ground where it was parked.
I bought a 36k mile warnty.
Will the warnty cover this?
Can I return the truck?
2. Richard S Says: Warranties are tricky things when it comes to enforcing it. The dealer has the right to confirm that a leak does exist and then if a leak is found, he has the right to perform the repair. There is one stipulation in the law that states that if you the customer have lost faith in the business to perform quality service, you can take it to another repair facility to have the repairs performed. This is only after you have documented proof that the business has failed to perform a quality repair. If after three repairs on the exact same complaint and still no resolve, you then have the right to take this to the Better Business Bureau and or the Bureau of Automotive Repair. Hope this helps.
3. springfield45 Says: If you like the truck bring it back and have them repair it, make sure it is a itemized bill to keep for your records. good luck with your new ride.
