(2010-05-30 16:24:22) 1. Says: im working on my 06 mustang(v6 4.0 standard) and i was wondering if i can set a pair of offset rims, the front size's 15x8a and the rear is 15x12, spacing for both is 4", hot rod, and my question is if i can fit these rims in my car. i will really appreciate any help thanks everyone2. Says: You're asking if you can run larger rear rims ??? Sure. Now the word 'offset', when talking about rims, is the distance inside the rim from the edge to the spinner, where the lug holes are. Not sure of all the specific details of measuring this, but know that this offset number needs to be correct for the wheels to work. Result: You new rimes must be for the retro Mustang body. Rims from the older SN-95 body have different offsets, and won't fit.3. Says: yeah, hey lex, to fix those rims on your car, you can get a special i guess "kit", i knew someone with 20's on his low rider truck, he imported the rims from somewhere in Europe and its one of a kind offsets with a key one of the lugnuts so you cant steel um, i know that didn't help much but thats all i got for you, but yes it's possible-Xchon Tag: Names lex and i was wondering if you guys can help me?
