1. Queen W Says: Hi, the terminals of car battery are very dirty now but the battery still works well. I have a can of CRC 05103 Quick Dry Electronic Cleaner that I want to make good use of. Will the cleaner work for battery terminals?

Thanks!!!
2. Stpaulguy Says: That stuff is good for corrosion on electrical terminals. But what you have is acid corrosion. It needs to be neutralized first. So either baking soda or a spray can of battery terminal cleaner. Then spray on battery terminal protector spray.
3. br549 Says: Just use about two tablespoons of baking soda in a glass of warm water. Pour half on the terminals, brush wit an old toothbrush, pour on the rest then rinse all off with the garden hose.
4. Jon P Says: A small wire brush works well too. Use eye protection. Then you can clean the terminals with solvent, even rubbing alcohol. It costs far less than CRC too.
