Help! My car is driving me crazy!! (99 Olds intrigue)?

Jo d Says: I have a 99 Olds Intrigue with the 3.8V6, The car starts and runs perfectly, has great power and shifts okay...Except when im driving it, it will not rev past 4200 rpm, unless the engine is ice cold. When the motor is cold I can usually get one or two pulls at full throttle and the engine will rev normally all the way to 6000 rpm before shifting, but as soon as the motor warms up, it hits around 4200 and simply wont rev any higher.

Now, the SES is NOT being tripped, unless I hold my foot to the floor and let it hesitate and stumble at 4200 for a minute or so, if I do that it will flash a P400. Other than that, nothing.
I have also changed out the plugs, wires, the entire ignition coil pack assembly (base and coils) the fuel filter, changed the oil and had the transmission checked.
