2003 impala possible electrical problem?

1. the law Says: My 03 Impala recently had been acting up. My battery light will come on and make a strange clicking noise under my dash when this happens my headlights will flash along with my reverse lights. This started out not so bad but now my lights flash all the time every 15-20 seconds at least. It doesnt matter if I am idle or not and it also does this when I take the key out of the ignition. I do believe it is a short but I dont know where. If any suggestions please let me know
