How can i gain more knowledge about cars.?

Ricooooo Says: I really have no backround with cars that much but i want to start working with them when im able to get a job. but i would like to be more informed about the makeup of cars like the different types of engines, wheels, and everything like that. so if u can give me any advise on how to learn about this and maybe give me some information...also if you can give me some adivise and ways to get into the buisness of making or fixing cars...i guess that would be engineering i guess

2. James Says: If you want a job fixing and working on cars, see if you can get an apprenticeship at a garage, you'll learn everything you need to know there.
You can't just know about stuff like this, it takes years of practice. Just read through anything car related on wikipedia, it has a vast supply of information about everything from different types of engines to how tyres are made, then try and get someone to help to teach you the basics and learn from there. If you own a car already see if you can buy a Haynes manual for it, that will show you how to completely take it apart and put it back together again should you want to do that :)
