smokeater1213 Says: You probably just have an air pocket in the fuel line or new filter. Pop the rear clamp of the filter open, let it drain a bit, and reclamp it, and recheck. Also, check the rest of the fuel filter connections and make sure that they are tight - could just be that you didn't hook everything back up correctly. If you didn't allow the the new fuel filter to fill completely that could cause a pocket between the filter and the pump. And Kenny could be right as well - you may have installed the filter backwards.

Kenny Says: Did you put the fuel filter in backwards? There is a right and wrong way to install it. This sounds like your problem.

RussK Says: you may have a weak fuel pump with the age

Bishop T Says: Could be MANY of any problems. Best bet is to take it back pronto. If you did it, make sure all your sensors are accurate, your lines are clean, and your intake manifold system is flowing smoothly.

Christopher Says: sounds like you have a fuel leak draining your line. i'd check the connections on the fuel line and make sure they are good.
