Please help me i cant find where a fuel pump for 94 jimmy is ?

1. jeffrey m Says: It's located in the Fuel tank. You'll need to drain the tank of gas safely. Then remove the bolts holding the straps and slowly lower the tank till you can see the lines and wires on top.

its a pain be sure to get a product called Blaster to spray on the fuel coupler fittings blaster also works for freeing up the tank strap bolts these are often rusted and stubborn the ones

on the Bravada's I worked on were 18 MM which is not found in all tool sets so you may need to get a couple of box end 18 mm end wrenches or one box end 18 MM and a 18Mm socket extention and Breaker bar they can be very tight and stubborn

its available at most auto parts stores

and allow them to soak, then spray again about 3 times over a couple hours..

if you don't the metal lines are likely to twist and collapse which will cause a resistance of fuel flow and cause premature pump failure of the new one

if the one in there already has crushed, twisted, collapsed lines you will need to replace sending unit wiith one from a wrecking yard that doesn't

I have always used a blade screw driver to tap the retainer ring Lightly to turn it paying attention to what you are doing... I never have seen anyone tap hard enough to cause a spark spark or a fire this way... and anyone who did I would neither go near them or take advice from, sorry just a opinion of a guy who has worked on cars since age 11 and I'm 48 now, but believe whom you wish

6. mister ss Says: it's inside of the fuel tank,if you gonna do it yourself be very careful as a single spark from using a metal screw driver to turn the tank retainer can cause an explosion,you need to use a brass tool which does not spark when hit with a hammer.
