Luxury vehicles........?
(2010-08-19 15:37:48) 1. Says: Why do luxury brands usually stick to naming their cars with letters and numbers? ie Infiniti G35 or BMW 750li, rather than with words such as civic, camry, etc. It's just something I've noticed and wondering if there's any reason behind it?2. Says: Because you know that a person who owns a CL550 paid less than the person with a CL600. A person could have paid 20,000 for a camry or 34,000 and people wouldn't know, by using the letter and number nomenclature you can also tell how expensive of a car it is. Look at BMW, you may not know the exact price but you know the bigger the number the more expensive the car (ex. 7 series more than a 5 series which is more than a 3 series...) Same with mercedes the A class is the cheapest and as you go farther into the alphabet most of the time the price goes up (excluding the some of the suvs. (B, C, GLK, GL E, S)3. Says: Because they're foreign and foreigners don't have the brains to think up and use real car names like Continental or Deville. that's why Cadillac and Lincoln and all other AMerican luxury brands reign supreme over all the foreign garbage!!!!!!!!*******************
