1. .... Says: Okay so I am interested in buying a 1999 Pontiac Grand Am but the head gasket is blown. The car is being sold for $600. I was just wondering how much does it cost repairing the head gasket? and if its even worth wasting the money? Help please!

Jacob Says: Its considered a rebuild of the engine and more than likely theirs more parts damaged in the engine and to me that isn't worth $600 plus the repair cost and as a estimate of what to expect to pay 1,000-2,500 depending on who u have repair it. In my opinion don't buy it it would be a waste of money
