Question about my 69 mustang coupe?

2. Doinit4D Says: Yes you can, the Shelby trunk lid and Q-panel extensions will bolt right on. Shelby never replaced the original Ford tail light panel with a different one, it just looks like that. What they did was remove the Ford tail lights and cut away the bars that the tail lights came through. Then they added a fiberglass cover to hold the Thunderbird tail lights you see on Shelby's. But if you remove those T-Bird lights and the fiberglass housing they sit in, the original 69 Mustang tail light panel is still under there. I can see that you already know that on a 69 coupe, only Shelby convertible parts will work. The reproduction Shelby parts are not perfect, and may need some minor work to get them to line up perfectly with each other. Original Shelby parts are a much better fit, but impossible to find or extremely expensive.
