Car with a headlight in the center of the grill?

1. Thomas Says: Okay, I just got mugged by some a$$holes who drove off in a car that looked like an old beat up 1970s-80 type vehicle (I'm not good with cars so I can't say for sure). But it had like a chrome plating and it looked like it had one headlight in the center of the grill. Does anyone know of a car with this discription? Make/model/pictures? Also, does anyone know of a car with headlights at the center of grill etc? Thanks :)
2. Grignard Reagent Says: 1949 - 52 English P4 Rovers had a central driving light. It probably was not one of those. Apart from the American Tucker of the same period (and they are even rarer than the Rovers), I don't know of any production car with a central headlamp.

Sounds like a home fitted feature or some sort of custom job.

OTOH it might be a Mercedes-Benz star which might look a bit like a headlamp from the side. Only found on commercial and sports models, not on standard sedans.
3. Ford Master Says: A Car with a Headlight in the Middle is called a Motorcycle.
4. finishthedamnrace Says: ya a tucker but way before the 70s
