What kind if sand paper can I use to smooth/polish rough paint?

1. Manuel Says: The previous owner did a horrible rattle can paint job on the tricks bed and I would like to make it a little nicer

2. justin Says: go to napa auto parts if you can get you a flat block and 1000 grit for the really bad but if it isnt too bad start with 1500 to 2000 grit and finish with 3000 grit. then obviously a good buff job is in order after that.
by the way the sand paper has to be wet sand sand paper where you dip it in water then sand .

3. Baxter Says: Just the bed? I wouldnt want to sand around all the grooves and such, I assume thats what you have, all the ridges and valleys. Have it blasted out. Your going to eat thru all the corners I would imagine anyhow trying to sand it by hand. Or just get a fitted bedliner and call it a day.
