94 Saturn Sl Transmission?

1. Ask You on Yahoo Says: I have a manual 94 Saturn Sl and where the stickshift connects to the rod (which i assume connects to the transmission) has snapped and needs to be replaced. The question is, how hard will it be to replace that rod?

2. Ed Says: Just replace the bushing not the entire cable. you can get one off of ebay for less than $15. Its not hard to replace, take the console up and the old bushing can be popped out with a screwdriver. insert the new one and snap the cable end back on the shifter lug, takes about 15 minutes.
