Viscose Fluid fan Clutch how do i permanently engage it will vote best answer please help?

1. jenjen_o1 Says: i love the sound of the fan when its locked up.but i Only get that joy on hot days (as in 30 Celsius or Higher).but i want to hear it all the time.so how can i engage the clutch permanently.i don't care how much more fuel i will use.so please help.do i super glue the bearing or something to lock it up.its a 1992 pajero belt driven fan.
2. Len Says: No you can't do much with it. They are made that way and if they're broken they don't run at all. You could change it to a fixed blade fan that runs all the time but it may sound different.
3. mdk68gto, ase certified m tech Says: since the engineers designed it to have a variable speed fan, then it should remain as such. changing that can/will change the way that the engine runs due to engine temperature.
4. rick29148 Says: You can remove the hub with the clutch & get a solid hub. Most are not part of the fan...
