If you build a new line or repair the old one it would be best to put the same number of coils and at least as big as the old ones. You could prolly cheat with only two coils but tubing is cheap and not hard to bend. If you have never bent tubing before then i suggest investing in a tubing bender to help avoid kinks. If you need to splice old line or shorten new line you will need a double flaring tool. Practice flaring on an old or extra piece of line and dont forget to install the nut on the line before flaring the end.3.
