My Heating hose assembly rusted out;; how long can i drive my car like that until able to fix it?

(2010-10-25 02:10:14) 1. unknown Says: i have a 2000 ford taurus se. i was driving my car until i seen it smoking, and the temp needle getting closer to the H which means its starting to over heat. i thought all it needed was coolant, but the coolant that was already in my car had leaked all over the ground and it was a brown color which was from rust. so i was told i need a whole new heating hose assembly in order for the leaking and everything to stop. so how long do u think i shall be able to drive my car for being in the condition that its in?2.
