Should i bore my 400 sbc 60 over?

You should be able to get a crank and rods for a 400 that will rpm as fast as the 377, which means you'll only leave power on the table by building a de-stroked 400. Unless you're racing in a category that limits ci, its not a good move in today's engine building realm.

Second, If you're looking to bore an engine over that much, get it sonic-checked before the overbore. It should handle the overbore, but I'd worry about core shift, and the problems you might encounter.3.
