Oil gauge/pressure problem?

(2010-11-03 02:10:19)
1. stickyhacker10 Says: i have a 2001 v6 mustang with 116 xxx miles on it and this morning when i cranked up my car about 5 sec after my oil needle just went all the way down showing no pressure. it immediatly caught my attention but then it went right back up to normal pressure so right before i was about to back up the oil needle dropped again to no pressure. i then cut my car off and waited about 10 sec then cranked it up again and the oil needle stayed in the normal range for the rest of the day. i will admit it was quite cold maybe about 38F . can anyoone explain this?
should i be concerned?
2. don r Says: Check the plug on the pressure sender to make sure it's on tight, is dry and the wires isn't frayed- never should happen. Check your oil level. Look at your filler cap and make sure there isn't any emulsion on it, signalling the presence of water in the oil.
3. Jesse Guevara Says: I WULD TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR OIL PUMP.
