Clutch problem help please?

L G Says: I think you may have the one of two problems. The first, where the cable passes through the bulkhead, has it corroded and split so that the metal is flexing ? Its actually a fairly simple repair with a section of plate metal. The next and most likely is that clutch cover plate diaphragm, one or more of the "fingers" has cracked. You can usually hear it when you depress the clutch pedal whilst the engine idles, it can click. This is a gearbox out and a new clutch. That is not as bad as it sounds as I know a "speedy clutch" company who said they could remove and refit the gearbox in your car in 45 minutes !3. dettom Says: No but your Transmission is, it sounds like your Throw Out Bearing Tag: Clutch problem help please?
