My 1994 carmaro v8 will not start, help plz?
(2010-11-16 03:10:08) 1. Says: My battery died! Cuz I left my radio on forever by mistake while the engine was off. But I don't understand I been charging it with this battery box thing that I have to plug into the wall of my garage(Has the red and black cables). I been charging it for an hour now. Went to start it and it still will not start! :(. The battery box thing I have has the engine start switch so I assume it should help me start it but it won't. When I attempt to start it, it makes this clicking noise like tick tick tick tick! die...What should I do?2. Says: I think your battery charger is shot. Apparently it wasn't charging your battery.
It's a pretty easy fix, just get a buddy to come over with a set of jumper cables and have him jump start you. Or, if your battery is completely shot to hell (not likely if this was a first time occurrence, but possible), just get a new one for $60. Not hard.3. Says: I am a Mechanic, Batteries last 2-5 years depending on quality and how often the battery died and and stayed uncharged. It sounds like your battery will not take the charge. I have a battery trickle charge that is capable of telling you if the battery can take the charge. Pepboys can test it 4 free 4. Says: maybe the battery acutely died Tag: My 1994 carmaro v8 will not start, help plz?
