Chevy sport or 454 ss?

1. Chevys Says: First off I am a chevy guy straight through, but I want to hear from other people out there who own or at one time owned one of these trucks I am looking to buy. One is a 1990 Chevrolet Sport truck with the 5 speed manual transmission and the is a 1990 Chevrolet 454 SS truck but this one is automatic. Each have their ups and downs but I want to know what others think overall. Thanks

2. justin plainold Says: It will cost you 600 a month in gas for that 454, that is the one thing you are not going to like, you can put a fortune in gas just doing everyday stuff, because around town a big block gets like 6 miles per gallon, the sport truck probably has a 350 and with the five speed will have plenty of snap to keep you happy, and not drive you in the poor house paying for gas.I love big blocks personaly and if the gas mileage does not bother you, go for it.
