How much will it cost to repair a dent in a car door?

1. Sarah Says: I have been looking to buy a Renault Clio (in the UK) and have seen a couple with minor dents in the driver side door. I was just wondering if anyone could give an estimate of how much this would cost to fix in £?
If anyone has had this done or works in that area and can give me an idea, I'd be very grateful!

If the dents are minor and paintwork sound, then a travelling dent fixing service can be a cheaper option. Each dent will cost around £25 to fix and can be done there and then without any difficulty. Companies like "Dent Devils" and others often visit car dealer sites on regular days to repair minor dents in cars for sale, so any day they are visiting they will evaluate the dent/s and decide whether you should have them done by a body repair shop or if they can repair them.
Contact any car dealers nearby and ask if they avail of this service from any company and obtain the phone number. If it can be done by these mobile teams, it will take around an hour to do all three. Had it done on a few occassions and it is amazing to watch being done and virtually impossible to find the repair afterwards.

3. sir galahad Says: it can vary on the dent,(assuming it's not a crease).sometimes,it's more cost effective to get another door the same colour from a salvage or scrap yard,especially if it's a common colour.ofcourse if it's just minor,is it even worth repairing?

4. Snowy Says: Keep on looking and forget the ones with dents. There are hundreds of Clios on sale with good panels and people will negotiate prices. Its a buyers market and you have the advantage. Dont buy dented cars !
