Which car is best? (for anyone that owns a Hummer or a Land Rover.)?

Now I hear that both those cars are gas guzzlers, but I'm not worried about that, I just need to know what the CAR itself is like. Is it safe?

2. philbear Says: I think you would be much better off in a Land Rover [Range Rover] Sport or Diesel model, they are well respected the world over, have much more class than a Hummer, they are ultimately safe, have brilliant engines and four wheel drive systems, and comfort levels / interior appointments are superb. The Range Rovers too are much less of a gass-guzzler than Hummers, which is am important consideration. Hummers are just a big ugly unneccessary joke vehicle!

3. Derail Says: The Land Rover is a better quality vehicle. If you research the new-car options that were available at the time, you'll see that the Rover comes standard with many additional items that are "extras" on the Hummer.

Also, now that the US government has a big voice in what GM will sell, GM has had to become politically correct according to Democrats. The first thing the Democrats did was to order GM to stop producing Hummers. There will be no more of them. Dodge wanted to buy the HUmmer rights too, and Democrats said no. I think the Rover is a better choice.

4. Jak Says: well the land rover will give you more style, and a hummer will say "look at me i kill the environment and don't care!" so i guess its all on how you would like to be viewed haha
