(2010-11-24 15:10:19) 1. Says: my 1996 ford Taurus is blowing out cold air. my thermometer will say overheating, and it still blows out cold air. i flushed my radiator last yr and it still didn't work. (fyi my air didn't work either{blew hot air}) if i am on the interstate my heat will work SOMETIMES... and its winter now and i don't have much money to get it fixed. so please help me soon!2. Says: First check and see if you have enough antifreeze in your coolant bottle. If it is then I would change the thermostat ($5). If that doesn't work your heater core may be plugged. Or even your radiator might be half way plugged. Try the thermostat change first. Good luck!3. Says: You might have an air pocket in your upper radiator hose. Usually there is a bleeder near the top of the motor. it looks like a bleeder on a caliper. while the car is running and warm, slowly turn the bleeder screw till a little antifreeze comes out. If air comes out then leave open till fluid does 4. Says: Check your coolant level. If low on coolant or the engine is overheating, the heater will not work properly. If the coolant level is good, get the car checked at a shop.5. Says: hi you could try putting a new thermostat it may be stuck or might have been removed at some time6. Says: if ur air is blowing hot air than jst put that on.
